​Anthony Marshall was born in Philadelphia, PA in 1958. He grew up on the streets of North Philly where he ran with the notorious 21st and Norris Street gang. He is now currently single and resides in Tennessee Colony, Texas. In 1990 Anthony’s life was forced to change when he was placed into a Texas prison. Struggling to maintain his sanity and determined to change his conditions and also the direction of his life he fought to find himself and to also self-educate. Anthony went on to graduate college at Trinity Valley Community College where he attained a Liberal Arts degree.
In April 2003 Anthony became actively involved with the Aids Arms of Houston. He began teaching HIV/AIDS education, Cognitive Intervention and also promoting the Prison Rape Elimination Act (PREA) throughout the Texas prison system.
In 2009 Anthony began his literary career. Taking the chance he plunged into the writing world by writing Philadelphia’s Nightmare on Osage Avenue.
As an entrepreneur and human rights advocate Anthony Marshall is the founder of 2-Pens Enterprise.
